When and how to do a hard refresh

Sometimes a website doesn't behave as expected, seems stuck or displays incorrect information. These problems can often be resolved by forcing your browser to i) delete the old local copy of the website (known as cache) and ii) load the latest version.
This is known as a hard refresh, which is different to clicking the refresh button on your browser.
If you are experiencing problems with the Crewdentials interface, we would first recommend doing a hard refresh to ensure you are using the latest version.
Your browser should load the latest version automatically when it detects a change in the site, but there may be times when a hard refresh helps. Here is how to do it:
Once you are on workspace.crewdentials.com or profile.crewdentials.com perform the following instructions:
Windows Users: Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge & Internet Explorer
Press Control+Shift+R or
Press Control+F5
Mac Users: Google Chrome & Firefox
Press Command+Shift+R
Mac Users: Safari
This is a 2 step process, first clear your cache:
Press Option+Command+E
Then refresh the page:
Hold down Shift and click the refresh button or
Press Command+R
iPhone Users: Safari
There is no easy shortcut to force a cache refresh. You’ll have to dig into the Safari settings to erase your browser’s cache.
